FAQS

The primary role of a Notary Public in Ireland is to authenticate documents for use abroad.

We do this by applying our signature and official seal to a document. This is called a “Notarial Act” and once done, gives the document worldwide recognition.

Therein lies the value of the Notary.

Not all Notarial Acts are the same however. This depends on the document being notarised and what the foreign recipient wants the Notary to authenticate.
