Hi, I’m Colm O’Shaughnessy, the principal of OSBROS Solicitors, which I founded in 2018.
As both a practising Solicitor and a Notary Public, I specialise in helping private clients, their families, and their businesses. I bring over 25 years of experience, having worked in both private practice and in-house with one of Ireland’s largest banks. This wide and varied experience allows me to offer practical, straightforward advice to guide my clients through the milestones and challenges life throws our way—whether personal or professional.
Outside my legal practice, I’m passionate about teaching and sharing my knowledge. I lecture and tutor on the Conveyancing and Business Law professional courses at the Law Society of Ireland Law School and also examine on the Advanced Conveyancing module.
When I’m not working for my clients or teaching aspiring solicitors, you’ll often find me challenging myself in Ironman and ultra-running events. Staying fit helps me keep up with the energy of my four wonderful daughters!
I’m also proud to have founded Glasnaion Football Club, a junior soccer club established in 2000 that competes in the United Churches League. I serve as the club’s secretary and. I’m also a director and secretary of Young Ballymun—a charity dedicated to improving the well-being and learning outcomes of children in the Ballymun area.
My approach is simple: I’m down-to-earth, practical, and committed to making a real difference for my clients. I understand how important it is to be approachable and accessible, and I don’t let my clients down.
